How To Get Started

Let me take this opportunity to briefly outline the steps in the process for you.  If you follow these steps exactly as given to you here, the process will be quite simple.  You will be calling in for assistance, so make sure you are near a phone.

If you have not called us, please do so now (877) 256-0392.  It is at this point in the process we will give you a quote on fees and discuss all the legal and ethical formalities associated with the bankruptcy process.  Although bankruptcy is a federal program, State laws do factor in and each State is different as are the local rules for each Court District in that State.  Then there are the Judges, and each of them can have their own little quirks that have to be accommodated.  These things are best discussed over the telephone and if something has to be researched on your particular case, we can make the arrangements to do that.

At this point you should have someone from Eschrich Law on the phone with you.  The attorney or paralegal answering the call will want you to open up a form that appears as a file folder just below this instruction at the center of the page.  This form is an administrative intake form and gives us some basic information we need to open up a file on you and begin the bankruptcy process.  Look at each of the questions and be prepared to provide the information to the staff member talking to you. (This was why we asked you to navigate the site earlier to read these instructions and to open files like this so you can make sure that you have the information it calls for.  This form can be printed out for your records and to refer to when you do call.)

Now you have completed your registration with Eschrich Law and your attorney talked to you about your filing options.  He told you which Chapter of Bankruptcy you will be filing under and now you are ready to secure the checklist you will need to work with.  Select the file folder for the chapter you will be filing which appears centered immediately below this instruction.  Select only one folder.  In that file folder will be a form that you need to print off so you can make sure you compile everything you will need to provide Eschrich Law.  Go ahead and open the appropriate chapter file LINK below.

Now that you have completed compiling your data as instructed by getting copies of all your bills, obtained a copy of your credit report and various other documents, you are ready to take one of the following steps appearing below as follows:

If you have followed all the instructions and completed each of the links applicable to you, you are finished with your part of the effort. Now the staff at Eschrich Law will process what you have compiled and we will call you with comments and questions once we have reviewed everything so your petition can be prepared for filing.
